Those who have tried to venture into our government public libaries in tamilnadu will agree to me, when i say they are not so well kept.
First the lack of maintanance will blow you out if at all you try to go into one. Most of the libraries are not even visible to your eye when you pass by.
Secondly the most important point, you can not find many popular writer’s works. this is because, they library commitee which buys books from tamil publishers for public library is not so unbiased. (the rest gose unsaid)
So you can find all the non sense books instead of realy worthy ones that would be helful for any one.
For example,All chennaities can see the drastic difference between the British council library and the district library, both in the same campus.
